Our Crazy Arkansas Weather

We had freezing rain and sleet Monday night and woke yesterday morning to terrible travel conditions throughout the Central Arkansas area. We live in a very hilly section of town and our house is about midway nup on the north side of a hill. Our street is usually the last to clear when we have winter precipitation. Yesterday our street was solid ice...needless to say we didn't even attempt to venture out. The street was still covered with ice when we went to bed last night.

But low and behold when I woke this morning, our street was completely clear of ice!!!!

The temperature had risen during the night and melted the ice. That's the thing about our crazy Arkansas weather, if you don't like it just wait 5 minutes and it will change. Now we have fog and chance of thunderstorms and the temp is supposed to be in the 50's tomorrow. I'm ready for sunshine!

Luck, love and laughter,

Judy

I might as well stay here. It's been weirdly warm. Darn global warming!

Strange weather for sure!! I'm glad the ice cleared up for you! We have a winter storm warning today. Supposed to start around 3 p.m. They're saying snow and ice. 'Tis the season!! Take care!
