I've been missing in action for a few days and so has my creative mojo.
My DH went to an estate auction last week and my dining room is a total disaster right now. He got some really nice pieces of Red Wing China among other things that he wants to sell on eBay. We have spent lots of computer time trying to identify patterns. And most of my day Saturday was devoted to taking pictures and setting up listings in Turbo Lister so they would be ready to upload to eBay. We've got some listed but still have a lot to go. We haven't done much on eBay recently and I had forgotten how time consuming it is.
Robin was here one day after the auction and spotted wooden cigar boxes that were in a box lot that he bought at the auction. She told her Daddy not to do anything with those boxes...told him that she and Momma would use them for altered art projects. I hadn't even really looked at them, I was too overwhelmed with all the china pieces. But these are the most wonderful wooden cigar boxes.
I have started working on an altered art project using one of the boxes....this is my first attempt at doing altered art. I've got the box painted and have pretty much decided how I am going to decorate it. Now I just need the time to finish it.
Everyone have a great week.
Luck, love and laughter,
Judy

I can't wait to see what you and Robin do with the cigar boxes!
eBay IS overwhelming! I have lots of little bits and pieces to list, and I'm putting it off only because it's so time consuming!
My girls and I hit the jackpot on wooden cigar boxes at a garage sale not that long ago, but we still haven't done anything with them yet. I'm looking forward to seeing what you and Robin create!!
Wow, what fun an estate auction, I know what you mean about ebay, have not listed anything in awhile. Love all the great cards you have made and can't wait to see what you do with the cigar boxes.
