Robin was cleaning out magazines and books recently and I appropriated a stack of old Paper Crafts magazines because they have lots of ideas for cards in them. I scrap lifted the idea for this card from the August/September 2006 issue (the designer was Susan Neal). I raided my stash of paper scraps for the paper (waste not, want not) and then did a zigzag stitch on the sewing machine where the two papers meet. The sentiment was stamped with a Kathy Davis Inkadinkado stamp and I cut the squares on my Cricut using the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge. I finished it off with a Prima flower stack and a rhinestone brad from Gina K.
I am going to browse through some more magazine issues tonight for new ideas after I do a little blogging. The heat wave we are having just saps every bit of energy that I have so I plan to crawl in bed with a book pretty early tonight. But cooler weather is in the forecast for later in the week -- hooray!
Luck, love and laughter,
Judy

OOOh. I really love the pink and black one! Very eye-catching!
Awesome cards! They're both fantastic! I love the stitching!!
Love this card, Judy. The colors are great and the flower, and anything with black and white polka dots is a winner with me.
These are so beautiful! Your cards are just getting better and better.
Judy, my goodness, you are making some really wonderful cards; I so love the stitching! It is perfection to go along with these "perfectly beautiful" cards!
all of your cards are looking great! I especially love the stitching. I bought a little Janome in hope of stitching more on my cards and have only done it twice :(
Judy -- I just wanted to let you know that Tamara posted her Card Design Team call today! I'm not sure if you're interested or not, but I thought I would let you know!
These are both fabulous, love the stitching! Makes me wish I was part of the swap!
