Mojo Monday Week 85

I haven't used a Mojo Monday sketch is a while and decided to use this week's sketch for a Mother's Day card for my mother-in-law. I used paper from DCWV The Luxury Stack for the card. I love this paper, it is so elegant looking. But I really have a hard time getting a good picture with the pearlized and metallic finish to the paper. The sketch has a patchwork feel to me and I did a zigzag stitch around the paper pieces. I printed the sentiment out on the computer, cut it out using a nestibilities and inked the edge with tea dye distress ink. To finish it off, I added some self-stick gems and a K & Company sticker.

Hooray.....the sun came out late this afternoon and was a very welcome sight. We have had over 7 inches of rain since May 1........that's a lot of rain!

I'm off the try to get my craft room straightened up and organized a little so I have room to start another sewing project.

Luck, love and laughter,

Judy
