Another Card Sketch a Day Card

I think I am getting hooked on the sketches at Card Sketch a Day. The simplicity of the sketches really appeal to me. Here is a card I made using card sketch #150.

The paper is K & Company Urban Rhapsody Designer Paper and The Paper Studio Textured Cardstock. The sentiment was stamped on a creame colored cardstock using Hot Off the Press Whimsical Words & Doodles acrylic stamps. I then chalked the cardstock around the sentiment blending two soft colors (something new for me) and inked the edges. I added burgundy ribbon and a stack of Primas with an adhesive rhinestone in the middle. I placed an adhesive pearl in each corner of the brown mat for a little extra umph.

I am really tired tonight so I am going to go crawl in bed with my book instead of working on today's sketch #151. Although I do have some ideas flying around in my brain on what I want to do with this sketch.

Luck, love and laughter,

Judy

Judy! This is so pretty! I love the papers you used! The ribbon and flower combination is fantastic! I love how bold the ribbon is, and I love the two pieces that are sticking out behind the flower. Wonderful card!!
