Xyron Review

How on earth have I functioned making cards and scrapbooking without a Xyron? The ladies at the scrapbook store are right, it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. In addition to the 1.5" create a sticker, I now own a 510. Got a really good deal on it on ebay.

Our little great-nephew Jonah will be four years old next month. Can you believe that I am ahead of the game and finished his birthday card last night?

Can anyone give me hints on distressing paper and what tools to use to do it?

Have a great Friday everyone!

Very cute card!!

As for distressing, if you are using SU paper, you can just get a nail between the layers and distress away, may even want to go over it with the side of an ink pad!! The also sell edge distressers! SU has one in their cutter kit on page 189 and I bought one at AC Moore, Michaels or Joann's too, not sure which one, but it's pink and it's by Heidi Swapp, actually send me your address and I'll send it to you because I also have one from CTMH!!

You can also use a nail file block to distress the edges. I use nail file blocks and walnut ink pads.

I love all your cards and LOs. I'm just really behind on my blog reading.
