I found this week's Inspirational Card Sketch one of the most challenging sketches that I have attempted to use. I had a very difficult time with it....from deciding on how to build the sketch to deciding what paper to use.....it was a challenge for me from the word go. If weren't for the fabulous chance to win a stamp set from this week's sponsor, That's Jazzy Stamp Dreams, I probably would have given up on it. But I have some of Sheila's stamps and just love them so I just couldn't pass up an opportunity for a chance for more.
I wound up making a card to use as a gift tag. I used a 4 x 5 1/2 inch premade card and then cut two tags on the Cricut that would fit the width of the card and adhered those to the top of the card. Then I started layering the paper that I had finally decided to use. I added embossed Primas, self-stick gems, and a K & Company butterfly sticker. Oh, and I used a stamp from That's Jazzy Stamp Dreams on the tan paper and stacked one of the Prima's on top of it. When I get ready to use it as a tag, I'll add ribbon to the top of the tag.
For all the difficulty that I had, I am quite pleased with the way it turned out.
Luck, love and laughter,
