Back to Work

It was back to work today after the 3 day President's Day holiday weekend. Things were quiet at work this morning and this afternoon I had to attend a training session on the new purchasing procedures that the bank is instituting for all its branches and affiliates statewide. Fortunately it was short and to the point...nothing long and drawn out.

I finished the baby blanket last night that Joy asked me to make for her for a baby gift. The baby is a little girl and Joy wanted something with baseball on it! Seems the new daddy has been or is associated with baseball. I searched the freebie designs on line and finally found a cute design with little girl holding a bat on annthegran's web site. I managed to get enough juice out of my camera's battery to get a couple of pictures. (Ordered a new battery tonight).

Tonight I embroidered a burp pad that Tina asked me to make for her. The prefolded diapers make wonderful burp pads. I trimmed the edge with rick rack. I also put a crystal Rock Star design on a tee shirt for Addison. Sorry no pictures available.

I keep looking at the stash of sewing and/or embroidery projects that are piling up in my sewing room. I think it's time to make a list and check it off as I finish projects. Then there is the scrapbooking that I want to do. There just are not enough hours in the day or should I say that I no longer have the stamina to go so many hours in one day.

Had a great time yesterday with Robin. We haven't had a Mother Daughter day in a long, long time.
