I was looking through some phrases for friends/friendship and found this wonderful sentiment. Using Card Sketch a Day sketch #207 as my inspiration, I rummaged through paper scraps (K & Company designer paper) and started cutting and placing for a patchwork look. After I had everything in place, I went to the sewing machine and did a zig zag stitch around each piece of paper. I printed the sentiment out on the computer and mounted it with foam blocks. Also added a K & Company dragonfly sticker. I just love the way the card turned out.
Yeah.....tomorrow is Friday!!!! And then it is the weekend.

Oh, how I love this card....reminds me of my quilting days! This is absolutely BEAUTIFUL, my Friend! The paper is so vintage and your stitching is "out of this world!"
Judy, this is a really neat card... the paper mixture, the vintage look, the sewing, and that gorgeous dragonfly....all make up a wonderful card.

I love this card. I would love to quilt, but can't so. What a wonderful alternative. And, nearly instant gratification.
