Mojo Monday Sketch and Card Sketch a Day

I took advantage of a day off from work and did some cardmaking.

I made this card using today's Mojo Monday Week 74 Sketch.

I started with some mottled beige cardstock that was in my stash (I have no idea where I got it). Then I used a print and a stripe paper from a Basicgrey Offbeat Paper Pad. I stamped the sentiment using a stamp from a Clear Expressions set. For embellishments, I used grosgrain ribbon and a Prima Stack fastened with a small brad. I stamped the red flower with cocoa brown ink using a stamp from my Whimsical Words & Doodles set.

Then I made this card using today's sketch (#169) from Card Sketch a Day.

The paper is from a K & Company Designer Paper Pak. This card did not go together as well as I had hoped -- I think I cut the strips of paper just a little too short. But I felt better about the way it looks after I stamped the Primas with cocoa brown ink using a stamp from my Whimsical Words & Doodles set. The sentiment was stamped using a Stampabilities stamp.

Luck, love and laughter,

Judy
